About LaTrice

Built by an educator. For educators.

LaTrice Lyle has spent more than a decade at the intersection of equity, instruction, and systems change — in classrooms, in school leadership, and now as a trusted partner to K–12 districts navigating one of the most consequential shifts in education history: the rise of AI.

Her Story

I've been where your teachers are.

LaTrice Lyle was born and raised in Atlanta, GA and began her teaching career in Miami, FL after graduating from the University of Georgia. What followed was nearly a decade of classroom and leadership experience across Atlanta, Miami, and the Greater Boston Area — work that gave her an uncommon understanding of what it actually takes to move a school system, not just a PowerPoint slide.

She holds graduate degrees from Johns Hopkins University in Elementary Education and from Harvard Graduate School of Education in School Leadership and Design. That combination — rigorous academic preparation and real classroom experience — is what makes her approach to AI implementation different from every other consultant in this space.

In 2019, LaTrice launched what is now LaTrice Lyle Consulting while still teaching full-time. She officially stepped out of the classroom at the end of the 2020–2021 school year to take the work full-time. Since then LLC has served thousands of educators and hundreds of organizations across the country — helping schools build the capacity, culture, and systems to make innovation sustainable.

When generative AI arrived in classrooms in 2022, LaTrice saw what most vendors missed: that the real barrier to AI adoption wasn’t the technology — it was the people. Overwhelmed teachers. Leaders without a framework. Districts without a policy. She built the AI-Ready Educator Framework™ to solve exactly that problem — a whole-district approach built on the same equity and sustainability principles that have guided her work from the beginning.

LaTrice is proficient across all major AI platforms — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot — with deep expertise in the Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 ecosystems most districts already use. But her real differentiator isn’t the tools. It’s that she has stood in front of 30 students on a Monday morning. That experience never leaves the room.
